The guidelines below outline the steps to be followed in the search and hiring process. They include requirements from the Local Church Constitution and District policy along with the counsel of the District Superintendent. For interpretation of these guidelines or dealing with exceptions, contact the District Superintendent.

Offer of employment
When offering employment to any individual, churches are strongly advised to provide it in writing and clearly communicate the terms and conditions contained in the offer.

Hiring Follow-Up. (link to form coming soon) This checklist will outline information needed by the District Office to ensure the individual is enrolled in District benefits, Alliance Retirement Fund and included in the CMA National database.
Licensed Worker On Staff
Please have any licensed workers (Official Worker Portable, and Official Worker Non-Portable) on your staff team complete the New Worker Form online, or download the form and send it in to our office.

Transitional Pastors
Many churches in our District hire a transitional pastor after their Senior Pastor has left, to the guide the church towards readiness for a new senior pastor. Contact the District Superintendent to get more information on hiring a transitional pastor or check out our Church-in-Transition section. Arden Adrian, Gerry Teichrob, Ed Drewlo and Ron Erickson are the District's current transitional pastors, with hopes of adding more in the future. Gerry Teichrob is the network coordinator of our transitional pastors.
