Leaders in Training International (LITI) takes education to a new level; students with a passion for leadership mix online learning with a global perspective.
Leaders in Training International is a partnership with School District 22 (Vernon) and Eagle Bay Camp. LITI is a full semester 20 credit Global Education Program for grade 11/12 students. The program culminates in a five week international field study in Panama Central America - the crossroads of the world.
LITI explores indigenous people, language, volunteerism, tropical research, conservation of sea turtles; reefs, and rain forests. LITI students will visit the Red Cross, the United Nations, and the Peace Corps in relation to their studies.
Students will complete all requirements for grade 11/12 English, beginner Spanish, Leadership, Global Education and Directed Studies classes.
