The new Seamless Link web page, which was launched a couple of weeks ago, has testimonies from both International Workers and Pastors, where we as a C&MA are serving, frequently asked questions about Seamless Link, along with other mission resources. I would encourage you to not only take a look at the site but also pass it on to your Mission Committee as a resource for them.
When your church joins a Seamless Link Covenant with an International Worker, sends out a Short Term Mission Team and then returns with stories and picture, consider sending them to us so we can post them on the Seamless Link web page for others to read. This can be done through the 'Contact' tab or sent to Steve Foster by email.
Missions Corner - Thank You
Thank you and your church for faithfully supporting the International Workers through prayer, communications and finances this past year. As we work together with our International Workers our desire is to 'glorify God by developing indigenous movements of reproducing churches among the least reached people groups.' Each of us has a role to play in this. I was reminded of this when I spoke at Sevenoaks' "Heart for Mission" where ladies faithfully gather and pray monthly for International Workers.
As a note of encouragement on the financial side, December 2011 giving to Global Advance Fund was the largest one month giving we have had. Although we did not meet the 2011 faith goal, this one month substantially helped move us forward positively. Thank you for encouraging your congregation to support our International Workers in this way.
