Ride 2012 is a practical way for you, your church, and The Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada to stand up for the marginalized and neglected in this country's inner cities. We are raising funds for three projects in the inner cities of Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal. We hope to build on the momentum of Ride 2012 as a foundation for future projects as our churches invest in the vision and share it with those around them.

Why Ride?
The heart of the Gospel is to manifest God's great love to those who don't know him. It means speaking out when injustice is perceived and giving help and loving support when people are hurting. Our six districts across Canada are deliberately targeting church plants to minister to the forgotten and disadvantaged within our communities. To help fund these churches we're asking you to "ride" with us - physically, prayerfully and financially next summer.
Dave Blakely is our Canadian Pacific District Ride Coordinator. He'll be contacting your church, if he has not already, and letting you know how you can be involved. There will be a letter coming out from National Office with information that will help your church in supporting the Ride and its endeavors. Dave Blakely is also looking forward to reconnecting with all of our churches about the ride at Staff Retreat in January.
