The biennial District Conference is coming up on May 19-21, 2009! And Registration is starting for your church to send delegates! The conference will be held in the Lower Mainland at the Vancouver Sheraton Guildford in Surrey, and the Annual General Meeting will be held at Surrey Alliance Church.
Cost: $200.00/delegate
This price includes the "Day with Erwin McManus" (as well as public service), Tuesday's banquet, Wednesday's brunch and Thursday's lunch.

Accommodations and Travel: This is the responsibility of each delegate.
The Conference Hotel: The Sheraton Vancouver Guildford Hotel in Surrey will have rooms blocked off for Christian and Missionary Alliance delegates. These rooms will be available to book at our conference rate until Sunday, April 19, 2009. Reservations received after 4pm on the cut-off date will not necessarily receive the conference rate and are subject to availability. Reservations will be made via individuals calling 1-888-627-8063, ask for the Alliance District Conference..
The Conference Room Rates are as follows:
Traditional 2 Queen beds: Single Rate/$119.00, and no additional cost for 2-4 persons/room
Traditional King bed: Single Rate/$119.00, and no additional cost for 2-4 persons/room
Please note an additional fee for parking will be applied by the hotel.
Sending Delegates: The 2008 District Constitution provides for Accredited Delegates from local churches to District Conference as follows (this is in addition to all Official Workers who are also Accredited Delegates):
- All churches which adopted the Local Church Constitution of the Christian and Missionary Alliance in Canada may be represented at District by two lay delegates. If the active membership is 150 or more, another lay delegate may be sent for each additional 100 members, or fraction thereof.
- For churches which are not yet officially organized, one lay delegate may be appointed by the District Superintendent after consultation with the Advisory Committee.
- Lay delegates from the local church shall be appointed by the Board of Elders
