VANOC is selling many of the items used during the Olympics. The sale is taking place at 7530 Hopcott Road in Delta and is from 9am - 3pm every day. This is a warehouse just off River Road about five minutes north of Hwy. 99. They are selling good quality light weight but heavy duty plastic rectangular tables with folding metal legs (8' - $30, 6'-$25, 4' - $20) and two drawer locking metal file cabinets - $45. If you are buying a large quantity they may even give you a better price. Ask. There are other items like microwaves - $30, faux leather couches - $250, love seats - $200, armchairs - $150 and many other items. It is really busy first thing in the morning so go later but arrive before 2pm. Be prepared for the process to take some time. Do not go on weekends (less than half even got in the door on Sat.) Terms are pay (cash, credit cards or debit) and take it away.
