“Healthy leaders leading healthy churches” is a deep and compelling desire of our District leadership team. We are committed to helping leaders and their churches move toward greater health and productivity for the Kingdom of God. Growth should be about quality (health) and not just quantity (numbers).
Below are some ministries who have developed information and resources on church health:
Outreach Canada is dedicated to encouraging the local church to become a healthy, growing expression of God's love to the world. The goal of Outreach Canada is to assist evangelical churches and denominations in their work by sharing the resources God has given us.
BETTER TOGETHER – “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their work…if one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up.” (Eccl. 4:9-10)
Our Vision is to establish a network of strategic and relational alliances between Christian workers for the purpose of producing spiritual renewal and dynamic church health.
Pastoral Networks are safe, supportive, inspirational and empowering mentoring environments for Christian leaders, equipping and encouraging them in their passion to pursue God, and lead their congregations to be Great Commission and Great Commandment focused. Check the Event Calendar or contact the District Office to find out when the next network training is available.
Currently we have a number of networks that are operating in various regions of our province. If you would like more information on how to join an existing network or how to form a network, please contact the District Superintendent. Here are the Networks we have at this stage:
Our Core Values
Each network is based upon the following foundational values:
Christ-centered: intentionally drawing our thoughts towards Christ builds unity and releases the Holy Spirit to empower and inspire.
Safe Environment: Grace-filled gatherings promote healing, embrace brokenness, insist on confidentiality and offer hope-filled encouragement.
Authentic Relationships: Transparency, vulnerability and accountability are vital to authentic healthy community.
Peer Mentoring: A desire to learn from others as well as a willingness to invest in others promotes excellence in life and ministry.
Strategic Thinking: We are better together in dreaming, planning and implementing Great Commission and Great Commandment strategies.
Commitment: Strategic and relational networks are not optional. They are vital to the releasing of our maximum life and ministry potential.
We have engaged the services of a Conflict Management Coach through Outreach Canada to help provide training and conflict assessments for churches going through interpersonal and organizational turbulence. Our desire is to help churches work through a present conflict and to proactively develop a clear pathway for exercising biblical peace-making as part of their spiritual DNA. If the senior pastor and church board feel they cannot resolve church conflict on their own, they are encouraged to contact our District Superintendent. For additional information, refer to the DS Guidelines for Implimentation of the C&MA Conflict Management Policy in the District Manual.

Peacemaker Ministries
Peacemaker Ministries was founded in 1982 by a group of pastors, lawyers, and business people who wanted to encourage and assist Christians to respond to conflict biblically. Since then they have developed educational resources, seminars, and conciliation training to help Christians learn how to serve God as peacemakers in the conflicts they encounter in everyday life.
