We have engaged the services of a Conflict Management Coach through Outreach Canada to help provide training and conflict assessments for churches going through interpersonal and organizational turbulence. Our desire is to help churches work through a present conflict and to proactively develop a clear pathway for exercising biblical peace-making as part of their spiritual DNA. If the senior pastor and church board feel they cannot resolve church conflict on their own, they are encouraged to contact our District Superintendent. For additional information, refer to the DS Guidelines for Implimentation of the C&MA Conflict Management Policy in the District Manual.

Below are ministries that have developed information and resources on handling church conflict.

Outreach Canada Conflict Assessment & Resolution Tools

Outreach Canada has developed resources for the local church to use to work through areas of conflict in the church. Read more about them at: www.outreach.ca

Peacemaker Ministries

Peacemaker Ministries was founded in 1982 by a group of pastors, lawyers, and business people who wanted to encourage and assist Christians to respond to conflict biblically. Since then they have developed educational resources, seminars, and conciliation training to help Christians learn how to serve God as peacemakers in the conflicts they encounter in everyday life.
