This year marks the 50th anniversary of God's work at Estevan Alliance Church in Saskatchewan.  They are planning to mark this occasion on Thanksgiving weekend - October 9th and 10th, 2010.  Events include a men's breakfast, ladies' luncheon, various tours, an evening banquet and a special Sunday worship service and lunch!

The District Missions Consultant's (DMC) position, funded primarily by our National Ministry Centre, has recently been modified by them to better achieve the outcomes desired by the C&MA Global Ministries Division.  The position will now by referred to as the Seamless Link Advisor.  When Harold Priebe, our District Missions Consultant, became aware of the changing expectations, he concluded that the position was no longer one where his primary gifts and passions could best be expressed. 

Keith Kwok has been licensed to serve at Vancouver Fountain Alliance Church. Keith has passed his accreditation and will be ministering as a lay pastor there as of September 1st.

Jeffrey Ku is joining the staff team at North Richmond Alliance Church.  He will be serving as an Assistant Pastor.  Congratulations on the new position!

 This announcement is to let you know that Steve Foster, who formerly served our Nanaimo Alliance Church, has been hired by our National Office to work in coordination with our District Office as the new CPD Seamless Link Advisor (this role replaces the former District Missions Consultant).  As such, Steve will begin September 1, 2010 assisting our churches and International Workers in developing and servicing a deeper missional relationship.
