The District Missions Consultant's (DMC) position, funded primarily by our National Ministry Centre, has recently been modified by them to better achieve the outcomes desired by the C&MA Global Ministries Division. The position will now by referred to as the Seamless Link Advisor. When Harold Priebe, our District Missions Consultant, became aware of the changing expectations, he concluded that the position was no longer one where his primary gifts and passions could best be expressed. As a result Harold and Becky will be looking for church ministry opportunities with the Alliance. Unless Harold moves to another ministry earlier, he will be leaving his role as DMC in our District on September 30, 2010. Once a new appointment of a Seamless Link Advisor is made by The National Ministry Centre we will make that known to our family of churches. Our District Office Team as well as our District family of churches will deeply miss Harold and Becky. They have served with outstanding passion, energy and expertise. We are hoping that God would keep them in our District as they enter into the next chapter of their ministry.
